Had my sons party here, bowling was fun but the lady working was very pushy in trying to get us into the party room. Kids wanted to bowl. And it was all because of the pizza. And it was the worst pizza ever. Sont eat the pizza. Its like the cheap pizza from giant tiger. Not very appetizing. But bowling us fun.

Roxy Lanes is a fun place to hang out with the kids. Every time I'm there, I see plenty of families or groups or birthday parties having a great time. I'm not sure why other people are complaining; I guess they have nothing else to do. I get that businesses, even fun ones like this, have policies and procedures in place for a reason and they can't change them for just anyone who walks in the door.

Sometimes the staff are rude....service can be slow.pay for games not by the hour cause if you pay by the hour and something happens to your lane like the pin machine screwing up...they take there sweet time to fix it and don't replace time lost.

Roxy is a great spot to get a few rounds of 5-pin in and grab a beer at one of the cheapest price points in the city. Great date night or with the family or friends. The building itself used to be a movie theatre back in the day. Great to see it getting such a great second use!

I called to ask if they're open on a specific date (holiday), and the lady who answered was rude. She arrogantly exclaimed that if I don't book then she won't open. Her condescending manner of speech put me off. Cancelled my plans of going there.

Because of it's location it was my little escape for a beer because there really isn't anywhere else conveniently located and there. Owners a super nice dude and good conversation.

I took my three kids. We got a lane right away which was nice. The drawbacks fire me were the price, the shoes looked like they hadn't been changed in 30 years. Every pair was ripped or torn. The washrooms were straight out of an 80s horror movie. The bowling was fun though.

I went bowling with the high school volleyball team I coach. They reserved lanes for us and gave us a great group rate. Good pizza too. I would book again!

Great place great fun. kids loved the motorcycle hanging from the roof. nice and clean good practices by the owners in respect to covid regulations and good value popcorn was perfect A+++++highly Recommend

Friendly staff and clean facility. Glow bowl 5 pin is great for everyone, with bingo bowl for the kids and a bar available of the parents one a drink as well. Good time, good people, and a good place to have a great night.

This place is my fav bowling experience in Peg City. It’s a trip back to the golden era of bowling & 4bar Rock n Roll. It has all you want in a bowling establishment & plenty of room for private functions with lanes upstairs. The owners are community minded & give back every chance they get. I can’t recommend Roxy Lanes more highly. Thanks guys!

We are from the US. We came to Winnipeg for the FIFA Women's World Cup and were looking for family friendly activities in between games. We found Roxy Lanes online. We have never tried 5 pin bowling. The owner was overly accommodating and helped us understand the different rules. Our family had a great time. Would highly recommend!

I just went in today, although I lived all my life in Winnipeg, Never mind the other reviews, It is a friendly place, and I took my 2 kids for bowling for free, and we liked Roxy lanes, I spoke to the Owner and she was a friendly Business Owner and we also told her that we will be a regular customer starting today. Thanks to Roxy Lanes for such a good service. Negative people are all around us so I would''nt bother about those morons...lol Art Storey has left bad comments on different companies - I just noticed, don't worry about haters. Negatives are never worth anyways...

Because of writing this honest review, one of the owners of the bowling alley went on Facebook and gave my business a negative review without even using my services. Absolutely childish and vindictive amateurs behind the wheel here. **Thankfully** there are other bowling alleys in Winnipeg. Avoid this place, especially if you are with family or children.

We had a lot of fun here the other night glow bowling. As usual i sure wish bowling centers could afford to update their old shoes lol so remember to support your local bowling center! And sign your kids up for free bowling!

Wish we had the friendly workers everyone is raving about. We called ahead to ask about glow bowling and prices, and a friendly lady told us it was correct and invited us to come on down. We came down and no other customers were there. The friendly lady wasn't there; some guy was there instead, and his attitude made it feel like he was less than enthused we were there. He told us that no such thing existed (the prices the lady on the phone had confirmed) and his explanation was that the website was out of date. So we paid for bowling, and my friend approaches him a few minutes later to ask if we could request music; she was polite and friendly about it. His response, which he actually said to her, was "whatever, I'm busy right now." I understand us needing to wait, but the rudeness was a bit excessive. Once he was done whatever he was busy with, he gave us a paper to write music requests on. We as a group wrote a bunch of songs down; we paid for two hours worth, so might as well have a few in there right? We bring the paper to him and he looks at it and goes "wow... If I don't have it I'm not playing it." He ended up playing FOUR of the songs, out of our entire list, and then went back to his music. Just to shut us up I guess? We had a lot of hits on there, he had to have had more of them. We came here to just chill and bowl and have a good time, but it was kinda spoiled by this guy's rudeness and negativity. Heard the place used to be cool but I don't see the hype.

Great place! Staff are friendly and make for a great experience. The venue is in good condition and the lanes are well maintained. The price to bowl is consistent with other venues. Beverages are fairly priced unlike other venues that charge outrageous prices. Bowling has become a weekly activity due to our experience at Roxy Lanes.

The lady working at the front desk felt the need to yell at the children before she spoke with the children or even the adults about the kids behaviour. The guy working the bar, opened and served alcohol without first asking for ID, then would not refund the price of a single drink after 1 person was not able to present their identification.

The staff was very friendly. I took my 2 and 4 y/o girls on a friday night at around 7pm. With a decent amount of people in the establishment we were still very well taken care of. They even made a nice announcement over the PA, as it was both my 4y/o birthday and the girls first time bowling, to sing happy birthday. The girls loved it.We will be going again soon. Very happy to support a long standing local business!

Very friendly staff, obvious they have ran it for years. They have a bar and prices were pretty good/average for a bowling alley. Could you use a facelift on the exterior and a modernizing on the inside. However the lanes are in excellent condition and there is glow bowling!!!

Probably the worst bowling experience I’ve ever had in the city... I was arsed as soon as I walked into the alley and everyone turned a blind eye.. On top of that the place was dusty and likely hasn’t been renovated in over 20 years (likely a drug front if you’re a cop reading this)... When I went to order a drink a big tattooed roiding drunk gym monkey consistently berated and bullied me while the bartender did nothing. I asked if that was a regular and she replied yes. Please stay away honestly, we were joking at how bad this place is... Reader be warned!

We just had our sons birthday party there. He is in a wheelchair. Although we purchased a party package we were unable to use either party room due to being upstairs and downstairs. They allowed us to have the meals and cake in the main floor seating area where the bar is. When my son needed to be changed they gave us somewhere private and more comfortable to change him rather than the bathroom floor. They were very accommodating and the kids had a fantastic time. We will be going back. Thank you for a great party!

I just went to Roxy lanes. I work with kids and I had two with me as well as my fiancé. We prepaid for 2 games for every one ($56.00). In the middle of the first game I asked if we could play bingo bowling for our second game (this way one of the kids who wasn’t so good wouldn’t have a score tied to their name - I explained the reason to her). She told me no because we’d be taking up two lanes. There was only one other lane in use in the entire building. When I pointed that out to her she said we’d be occupying the lanes too long. When I said what’s the difference whether we take our time bowling ten frames or bingo bowling she told me she would charge me $100 an hour if I wanted to play bingo bowling. I asked for my money back for the second game. I will never ever ever return to this establishment. I will also tell everyone I know of how I was treated.

Reserving a large group for bowling went smoothly, however I noticed they booked us on the first floor rather than the second floor which was much more roomier. We were booked on one side on the main floor and we found it really crowded :( Not enough seating for 12 people either. Another thing was some of us couldn't order alcoholic drinks on half of the menu simply because they ran out of alcohol...it's a Saturday night, restock beforehand at least!

Bowling is like everywhere else but the price is twice the amount. It cost me $45 for 2 games for 2 adults and 1 child. That's ridiculous. I don't know when it got this expensive but Ill never go here again.
