I have never had a bad meal here. The salsa bar is amazing. Staff is always friendly. Lots of art and paintings to look at. The daily deal is always a good price. They have Mexican and Italian food. I love the nachos!

The employee's have to be the absolute most useless people I have seen work service. They are constantly screwing up orders and overcharging. Definitely need better training and hiring practices for their staff. Only order stuff "to go" if you like wrestling with tin foil instead of actual "to go" containers. Used to frequent this restaurant a lot but its slide downhill has been quite quick. So unfortunate.

Senor Froggy right in the downtown Kamloops is a signage u don't miss walking by ! We explored the menu board outside and it looked exciting, but we waited for the right day to be here and hungry to savour their delicious. Finally today was the day and after long shopping day we landed up here . A well decorated Mexican cuisine restaurant with couple of Italian delicacies. Ordered Beef Baja Tacos , Chimichanga and chicken Alfredo pasta . When the food landed on our tables it was so eye appealing that our eyes popped out with a wow expression . Everything tasted so good and couldn't be better . The last time I had such good food was in Windsor with a soul touching food . The Baja Tacos were loaded with all the salad / Mexican meat mix / cheese . Chimichangas were dripping with fresh cream and guacamole. Alfredo chicken flavour was truly Italian . Best food I had in Kamloops .

Food quality and front counter service were good, my biggest complaint is that they've made a desiganted smoking table for their workers right next to where they seat you. Due to covid they want sitting outside, which is fine, its nice out, but when youre trying to eat and have cigarette smoke blowing in your face ruins it, theres limited seating outside as it is, i don't think prioritizing a smoke table should be a main focus, plus, said table still has a no smoking sign on it, so you wouldnt even know sitting down? Theres no signs or anything warning you, plus its on landsdowne mall property which I know doesnt allow smoking on the public walkspaces. Complained to the manager and was given a very "dont care" attitude. Only giving two stars because again, the front service was good and the food was good, if it werent for those factors it would be a 1 star.

Fresh yummy foor better than any mexican resteraunt I've ever eaten in. The only downside is they took their business off Door Dash and Skip almost assuming customers all have vehicles to pickup food when not all do. During Covid they had their presence on delivery services but stopped. They dont seem to want everyone's business and guess only people with vehicles to pickup are valued. It's a pitty because I love their food and would order it in more often.

I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant in a very long time. The staff humiliated me by refusing to allow my service dog to be in the restaurant with me because she didn’t have the words “service dog” on her vest. Instead I was forced to eat outside with wind blowing dust and leaves into our faces. Perhaps some education of the staff to people with disabilities (obvious stroke) would be wise. Have them google information on service dogs and note, they don’t even have to wear a vest at all, let alone one with the words service dog on it. I had been a loyal customer of senior froggies for over 25 years. I guess this restaurant will do just fine without my money.

I would give this location a minus 1 if I could due to the service I had on my last visit. My fience and i ordered food, we were eating at the only table available at that time. When we were halfway through our meal my fience had got up to use the washroom so it was just me at the table. The girl working the cash register told me I had to leave the booth so two men that just ordered food could sit down. So I did because i was embarassed that she told me to leave. I gathered my shopping bags and waited outside for my fience. After I left the same employee knocked on the bathroom door and told my fience that he needs to hurry up because people were waiting for the washroom. I need to mention my fience has irritable bowl syndrome and sometimes takes a while. Next thing he knows there is a security guard now knocking on the door telling him he needs to get out of the washroom the he proceeds to open the door with a key provided by the cashier mentioned above. When the securith opened the bathroom door my fience was still sitting on the toilet with his pants down. How embarrassing is that?. I will not go back to this location due to this incident. We were never rude or disruptive in anyway, we were well dressed and clean and we are not bad people so I don't understand why she would do this.

What more can I say? I love the casual walk up to the counter order and don’t have to deal with a waitress type of place. Great fresh salsa bar. Grab yourself a cup of every type, have a seat and chow down. Whatever you ordered, it will be good! This is not a fancy place but has fun Mexican decor and a hit-the-spot menu. My go to in Kamloops for family visits too. I’ve been to Mexico, this restaurant is good.

Went for the first time. Down town location. As mentioned below the server acted like we were in the restaurant only to inconvenience her. The tacos were mostly lettuce, the enchiladas were completely soggy, not wet wth sauce but soggy. The tortilla chips were stale and chewy not crunchy or crispy. Beans were cold and had no flavour. the rice like undercooked packaged rice. Wasted my money. Not real or good Mexican food by any standard.

Staff was very friendly and the food was great. Only complaint is there was no soap in the bathroom so we had to ask. Also they employ one of my biggest pet peeves, the disgusting wooden spoon / other large item that stores attach to bathroom keys that are ripe with bacteria.. At the very least something cleanable and antibacterial should be used. But this wouldn't stop me from returning again.

Please just go to taco bell or even taco time! Better food for less. We bough 2 original borritos and chicken quesadilla came to 50 bucks..... taco bell and taco time as similar things on the menu for less than 20 bucks. The food Doesnt even have mexican taste....

Although the interior is decidedly very tired looking it’s comfortable and relatively clean, I arrived after lunch and most of the tables hadn’t been cleared or wiped down, the staff was friendly and service fairly fast no one checks on you once you’ve received your food and the only staff I saw were the ones bringing food to people, none were engaged in any cleaning or removal of dishes etc from tables. The food I received was tasty with huge portions and reasonable-pricing delivered simply wrapped in paper with no fan fare or accessories, one needed to visit the salsa bar for sauces or salsa to enhance your items. Not a bad experience but a little sedate, I kind of hoped the staff would have been a little more excited about the menu and possibly also would have recommended extras including desserts

We decided to try Senor Froggy's for the first time on Saturday, October 17th, 2020. The menu had a very good selection, and reasonably priced. The food was also very good; But I especially want to give a shout out for their amazing customer service! When I realized that I had lost an envelope full of movie gift certificates and cash, I went back to the restaurant at Lansdowne, hours later. Not only had they found it, they had kept it, on the off chance that I would come back for it eventually. They were so happy for me and had the biggest smiles that they had made my day. In these uncertain times, it's so refreshing to still find people who are honest and caring. Thank you so much Senor Froggy's. I will definitely be back!

Ordered two 10$ burritos. They were the original or something. Beef we wanted. The burritos were 80% beans & rice and onions. They cheap out on the meat....AND the SOUR CREME!???? who does that?? Then we ordered a Mexican fries deluxe, and all we got was tater tots. We pointed to the picture of the cheesy yummy looking tots and got plain ones. They were over 4$, and everyone know that you can buy a bag of tater tots at Walmart for 2$. So disappointed. I wish we had just went for chinese but the wife wanted to gamble on mexican. I enjoy legit real mexican food. This was taco time/ taco bell trash. Way overpriced and not enough of the good stuff. ????
