TCU place has always shined in Saskatoon. No matter the event they always show pride in presentation and deliver top quality in production. The facility is always kept clean and the air is fresh. Everytime I walk through that front door I feel welcome as they usually have someone to great you and guide you. You can tell the pride they have in their facility. Top notch venue

Was here for a conference. It is a shame the venue did not have auditorium stule seating as it was tough to stay upright in the really hard chairs for 8 hours a day. The facility looks well maintained but small for the size of the conference I attended, but to be expected in a small town the size of Saskatoon. The food served at the meeting was fantastic and the service was excellent. Looked like a great place to host an event.

The banquet halls are of various sizes, the breakout rooms are numerous enough for large conferences and trade shows. Catering has a good enough variety for multiple day feasting needs.

It's the big theatre downtown but it seems fewer and fewer shows come through and that they focus more on conventions and room rentals. Too bad, its a cool old building and when there is a show a good night out.

We went to a concert at TCU last night on nov 2. It was exciting and a bit unnerving attending something like this for the first time in A LONG TIME. The social contract that has been set out before us is to be vaccinated and mask while in attendance. These are the terms we are all familiar with and upon which we buy our tickets. The young women at the door had the most difficult job and they did it superbly. However, too many people in the theatre were unmasked for the whole event. Some didn’t sport a mask for any of it. Drinks are allowed in the theatre ( should they?) so there is some negotiation around that. When I spoke to the event planners they said they would speak to security. Because of the shear number I assumed an announcement would be made rather than approaching people. Nothing was done. This breaks the terms of engagement we all agreed to while working towards a better future. I’m sorry TCU. It will be a long while before I attend another function there. And I want for nothing more than your return to a renewed and positive financial future.

I refuse to recognize this facility as "TCU Place". It was and will always be the CENTENNIAL AUDITORIUM. To commercialize it as TCU Place is stupid!! That being said, the auditorium is a nice venue. So nice, in fact, I'm surprised some jack-nuts idiot on the city council hasn't suggested replacing it... (As has been done with SaskPlace.)

My complaint about TCUP place is that they have the worst web page I have ever seen. It's impossible to navigate. It's like you have to be inducted into some strange way of thinking in order to do anything from buying tickets to using the special promo codes they send for pre-sales. I'm trying o buy Sound of Music tickets using the pre-sale promo code CAPTAIn and the phrase, "Active promo code" appears above the "my cart" symbol but there's no (logical)way to buy tickets. Every time I come to this website, I am convinced it was designed by a fool.

We recently saw a show at TCU Place. The show was amazing. We upgraded to a box. Loved the view and would definitely do it again. The upgrade included service, wine, wings and a fruit platter. Service was friendly and excellent. The food was excellent. My only complaint would be the amount. We were aware that it only included a dozen wings and requested to order more at the time of the box booking. They informed us if we wanted to order more it should be done at the event. When we tried that we were told the cooks were gone and kitchen was closed and that extras should have been ordered when we booked the box. We also found out that night the boxes are not locked if they aren’t rented. So people were using them without having to pay the extra fee for them. I would definitely rent one again but would really make sure of the details first.

Great venue for hosting a variety of events. If I had one piece of constructive criticism it would be that the auditorium could use an aisle or two on the main floor. The seating is quite tight, so shuffling and squeezing through all the way to the middle (or out and back if you have to pop out for some reason) is awkward in the extreme.

This is a nice venue for a show. It has a smaller theatre than I was expecting but that makes it more intimate. Their were a sufficient number of bartenders, never had to wait in a long line for a drink. The only improvement I would suggest is that an usher should remain in the theatre or ensure they are checking tickets and directing patrons to the appropriate side. People seated in even numbered seats disrupt entire rows because they either dont read, or dont understand that one side is odd numbered and the other even.

Great venue and good staff. If you park in the lot across the street,when you leave go through the underground parking to the 20th St exit, you can pay underground (or at the exit), then go out this way and avoid the confusion of the full lot trying to exit onto Pacific Ave. (22nd St.)

This is an amazing place for a meeting or conference. I have to say that the atmosphere, lighting, sound systems, video systems and seating are all the best I've experienced in a lot of different conferences. I've been here for numerous events. The lobby tends to get fairly busy but it is laid out well-enough to handle it. Most events have a coat-check available so that is a bonus. There is ample, paid, parking across the street in the mall parking.

I was here for a company party, and the service was friendly and courteous if I was rating the employees serving it would be 5 stars... but since I'm reviewing the total experience its a 3 star. The food was NOT good. The potatoes were so sticky that you would need to peel the potatoes off the scoop, the stuffing(I think that's what it was) was exactly the same as the potatoes only brown. I was not the only one heard saying what is this? I think it's supposed to be stuffing. The meat was decent, and dessert was good, everything else was mediocre at best. I assume the party was not cheap either.

I was here for an event in CENTENNIAL HALL A. The space held a lot of people and had multiple levels. It would make for a great space to host a wedding. Or a trade show. Or sharing gallery. Or any event requiring sections. There are a couple pillars in the space so it can obstruct view if there is one focus point.

We had a great time. The facility added to our enjoyment. The waiting area is spacious and provides much room to mingle, or in this case to sit at a table and drink a glass of wine or other refreshments while waiting. The theatre has wonderful acoustics and every seat is a good one. Definitely plan to return to this venue. The entry was fast and easy due to the large number of people checking tickets and many were available to help one find their seats. It is wheelchair accessible.

Always first class at TCU Place. I've been here many times for different events and shows and it never disappoints. Many different size rooms and halls for all types and sizes of events from weddings to handmade craft shows. Now that it has been connected to Midtown plaza makes it that much better. No need to walk outside in our freezing cold winters to get from building to building anymore.

The tcu place now has access via the midtown mall, with a bunch of new confrence centers. If you are looking to make a business meeting or something of large gathering. I recommend contacting tcu center

What a poorly run place. No digital tickets, was late for my show because they couldn't get people into the building. What a joke, unbelievable. Staff are flustered, and can't process the line to fill the auditorium. If I was having the show in my backyard it would have been better run.

I attended a conference here. Downtown location direct entry to shopping mall. Lots of different sized meeting rooms. Parking is street parking or a parking lot across the street.

Lots of great entertainment seen here and parking not bad do not know why they feel they need to build another. Had one downtown and people had problems with parking now they want o move it back... When will this city be happy more money than brains I say.

I was at a graduation banquet last night, and my entire table was not 100% satisfied with the meal. I personally found the food to be very bland. I have had meals at TCU in the past, and have never had any complaints. Usually the food is pretty decent. Unfortunately, last night’s meal was less than enjoyable. Not worth “$50” a plate. On a lighter note, the rest of the facility was nicely prepped.

TCU Small Budiness Christmas Party 2018. I went to this last year and it was fun. the comedian was awesome and the food was great.. This year however.. The Comedian laughed at himself more then we did. Between everyone at our table of 8 people for 6 hairs in our food!! My husband pulled 4 hairs alone out of his stuffing!!! We paid $60+taxes per ticket so you expect to have good service and food. We spoke with a server and she took our table # down and promised us she was going straight to a supervisor and would be back.. we never seen that server again. well we seen her, but she didnt come near our table again. Obviously we didnt think we would get our money back. But hell you could have even given those people a free drink at least. $7-$8/ drink is why everyone started clearing out when the dance started. those prices were even stupider from last year. Anyways. just one voice in the crowd. Just was disappointed this year. Probably wont be back next year.

I went to a banquet here once and the food was really great. The building is very well kept. Looks very nice inside and out. I also went to telemiracle one year and the seating in the auditorium is very nice. I like that there are balconies. The stage set ups for telemiracle were very awesome. Props to light and sound and the back stage crew. They were fast and out of the way for each set that needed changing. I only have 1 complaint. The food served at the concession for the telemiracle is very tasteless and quite gross. The fries are very greasy. The price you pay for burger and fries is unfair for the lack of taste it has.

Never any complaints here. Love going to concerts and shows here (preferable over the North Sasktel Centre). Parking is usually okay and it's quick to get out of the lot. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Although the facilities are generally nice, the seats are some of the least comfortable that I have ever sat in. They feel like fabric-covered plywood without any cushioning to speak of. Those are in desperate need for replacing. I couldn't imagine sitting in one of them for any extended period of time, such as a full-length concert or play. It is nice that they have a small Tim Hortons, and that food and drink are permitted within the performance space.
