First time with my kid and we loved it. A very social person who clearly values and respects her client. The salon was well kept and clean. She turned on the music to keep me entertained. My son who is an absolute picky rascal about his hair tells me that now TA hair salon is his favorite. Actually it's our new favorite salon. Love supporting this small neighborhood business. Verdict: I recommend this place!

I was looking for a hairstylist after moving back to Burnaby with my husband and I decided to go to Angelina based on the excellent reviews that she received here. It is very rare these days to find a salon where the owner is also the master stylist. I must say that Angelina definitely lives up to the reviews because she did an amazing job on my hair today after a negative experience I had with another hairstylist. She helped smooth and thin out my fine, wavy hair before giving me a one length bob so that it will grow out nicely before I return to her for further styling according to the pictures I showed her. Angelina has been a professional hairstylist for 27 years and it definitely shows. Typically, it takes other stylists I have been to about one hour to give me the kind of haircut that it takes Angelina to do in 30 minutes, so her skill and experience definitely shows!!! I will definitely be back for further styling under Angelina's capable and trusty hands when I finally grow my hair out!!!

I just visited the salon and had a wonderful experience. The service from Angelina was wonderful, she cut my hair exactly how I was hoping despite me only having a bad example picture to show her. She was very friendly, and has clearly had a lot of experience but still has very reasonable prices. I can't recommend her highly enough, I would give a 6 star rating if I could.

My 6 year old daughter grew her hair out so that she could donate it to wigs for kids bc, which provides wigs to cancer patients. Angelina was very supportive and helped us tie the pony tails and measure them so they would be long enough. She was very patient with my daughter who was emotional about this hair cut and all her squirming around in the chair. The haircut is wonderful and Angelina provided the cut at no cost since it was donating the hair for a good cause. Wonderful experience. We will be back for a trim soon.

As a dad with a five year old and a three year old, it is always nerve wracking taking your daughters to a new hair dresser. Angelina, today, was fantastic. Fast, skilled, and confident with her tools, one recognizes when someone that knows their craft and Angelina knows hers. We came out with cuts above and beyond what I was expecting and the girls loved her. We will be back as she is now our go-too for hair.

Angelina is great! I showed her what I wanted and she did it no problem. She suggested I don’t go too short at first. I went from 3-4 inches past my shoulders, to a nice layered slightly inverted bob. I love the cut! Thank you Angelina. Her prices are amazing as well. She is super nice ????????

My fifth visit the salon and every time satisfied with different haircuts. I started with a very short hair and now my bob is amazing! The salon is very busy by bookings. As a walk-in client with no booking I got a spot offered after Angela was done with another client. I cannot book in advance because of my unpredictable job and most of my walk-ins end up with 10 min haircut and an amazing result. My French pedicure looks great too. I recommend for any haircut complexity.

Don't know how good the haircut, but the service doesn't meet the basics. My son went there twice, still couldn't get a simple hair cut . The second time I booked an appointment for him, and unfortunately he was ten minute late. The (only) hairdresser already worked on somebody else--that's fine, but she neither bothered to ask my son if he had an appointment and nor did anything to accomodate him. He was kept waiting for over half an hour! Seems not knowing the most basic etiquette in treating customers! Won't go there even we are closeby.

I came in wanting to chop off my long hair to donate and get a nice cute pixie cut for the summer. I had my big envelope all addressed and ready to go but it turns out I didn't have to. Angelina knew more about the donation process than I did! After my hair was packed and my cute haircut in place she surprised me by telling me because I was donating my hair it was free. I couldn't believe it! I lost a lot of hair but definitely found a new treasure of a place. If you're thinking of donating your hair for charity (and make sure your hair is long enough!) Angelina can help you out, she knows how long, what type of hair, and she'll even send it for you. Oh! And you'll get a fantastic new haircut too! 5 stars for sure!
