Love this little store. It's sometimes hit and miss for certain products but never detrimental. We requested a certain brand and they brought it in. Decent prices and regular sales on things like cheese, so some good savings to be had. Quick and pleasant check outs too.

Excellent cleansliness, floors are clean. Above average organized goods on shelves, if there is a damaged good you can inform an employee. Employees are polite when asked a question and have great customer service. Check out is easy, and more cost efficient if you bring your own reusable bags in. Bags are now 5 cents each. Prices tend to be expensive, due to shipping costs and being in a small town. This is a local business, I have shopped here for many years and my personal experience is that they have great customer service for the years I have been coming in. This business has been here since the time I have been living in Hope, BC and I have to say I am proud to have this as my local grocery store.

It's been a couple years since I've been there, but always have a soft-spot for this place! I hope it never disappears. I've always looked forward to doing a grocery run when we visit Hope (and I"m a person who hates shopping otherwise! lol). It's a small-town store, a little bit of everything, and I do mean that - it's not lacking. They even have a surprisingly decent selection of gluten-free items which is important to someone like me, with a sensitivity. Another review nailed it - it's "cozy". Reminds me of an old-time store, and I just love it!

This is such a neat little store in Hope, so well organized, with the friendliest staff! The produce is fresh, the meat is well laid out and the buns are soft! For such a small location there is a good selection of different items so you don't have to choose the same thing every visit. Also they have competitive prices on their products, not too expensive so a nice place to shop! I recommend stopping at Buy-Low for your groceries in Hope!

Great staff, five stars for them...horrible prices and never have anything left of sales in fliers as far as meat goes. Priced like a corner store instead of prices people can afford. In Salmon Ar, the buy low is ALWAYS way lower prices. No idea why these guys can't do that. Have to travel to superstore every week in Chilliwack instead. And we buy at least 1000 a month in items. Loss of sales for Buy Low!

On a run down to the coast, I stayed in my old home town. Once was a Super-Value, same old store I remembered from my childhood. Little cluttered, but still pretty much the same. They have it, you just need to look for it.. Friendly staff, some prices are a little out there, but it is what it is..

You need to be focused in this store. Always count your change. There are multiple techniques used by cashiers here, one is to give you a change from a supposedly smaller bill, as if we were in Mexico. For example, you pay with a $100 bill, they may attempt to give you a change from a $50 as happened to me today. Management is thieving, too, by advertising something such as apples at a good price with a large sticker, while at checkout you may pay a higher price. I live in this town and I know the situation. Many tourists don't, and the situation is much worse on Saturdays when people buy liquor in a nearby store. There are 2 food stores in this town. I must say that the other store is not without its problems either. Best to stay alert and focused when you buy stuff. Check your receipt and change. Most of the damage is probably done to non-suspecting tourists in transit through town.

Wonderful idea they have...at every till they have a bowl of fresh fruit ( not old and unsellable, but fresh!) With a sign telling the kids to help them self to a piece while their parents check out.
