First place I spot at normally when I get back into town from any extended vacation or trip. Crispy beef sukiyaki always delivers the flavor. Manager was friendly and made sure everything was correct for all customers in the place. This location consistently makes it happen. I will be back.

I love Callingwood Edo. We used to live in the apartment building right behind so we came in here a lot. I've never once been disappointed with the food, the service is always polite and I like that you can see into the kitchen. Plus the chili garlic sauce is self serve (delish)! I think the owner is periodically present so there's usually a good buzz going on with the staff. Good cheap eats!

Not great. Ordered online, showed up 5-10 mins past order ready time and it wasn't ready, they said they didn't have my order. Had to bring up the receipt on my phone to prove I ordered it, then they found it and made it. The spring rolls were SOOOOO greasy! I've never had Edo before so I'm not sure if that was normal? I could barely eat them. This has been the most reasonably priced sushi I've found in Edmonton so far, it was nothing special but at least I'm not spending $9/roll for Vegetarian sushi like everywhere else in the city.

The food is always yummy BUT the portions keep getting smaller and smaller. I always pay for double beef and sumo size making my meal almost $20. If I’m spending $20 on ONE meal that bowl better be packed full. Unfortunately lately it’s just not. I’m not going to give this location any more of my business. You should never pay for food you just simply don’t receive.

Showed up tonight at 9:52pm (on a Saturday) hoping to make a quick takeout order on my way home. Was greeted with a locked door, so I knocked. When the staff member answered, he said that the restaurant ACTUALLY shuts down at 9:50 despite the sign saying they're open till 10. I don't know about you, but cutting corners on being open 10 minutes longer makes me wonder what else they cut corners on.

This Edo is quite still managed and the service is good. I ordered a poke bowl, shuck is no longer on the menu, but they were very happy to make it for me! Definitely better than other locations I've been to.

One of my worse experience with Edo. I saw the "try it spicy" sign for the beef udon soup so I went with it. It turns out it was just a pile of sriracha sauce put on top of the bowl (which I could have done myself). There was a big chunk of udon stuck together. I had to bite it off. I would be going to the one on 170st by the mall.

Love this location! Staff and manager are very professional! I always get top-notch service and great quality delicious food! I order meals through the app. When I had accumulated enough tokens I was puzzled as to why I didn’t get a free meal. My credit card was charged for two when I thought one would be free. I sent an email to the EDO head office who to contacted manager at this location. It turns out that I didn’t follow protocol, but the manager & staff at this location went above and beyond to ensure I got a free meal.

When I arrived the place was empty and lady started laughing at me. When I paid for my food another customer came in. After she took his order, he was served 5 minutes after. I waited 30 minutes for them to make my sushi. They served another customer before me. And then started talking and made me wait another 5 minutes. When I arrived home I ate my food quickly and noticed a hair in my sushi. The beef in it was flavourless and the edamame was completely burnt.

What a terrible experience, I live right beside this location and was a frequent customer however i'll never return to this store. I ordered beef yakisoba with double beef. The front counter staff took my order than proceeded to chat with his friend of similar ethnicity for a good period of time in their language. I sat and watched my food just sitting on the counter under the hot light for 10 minutes while he proceeded with his conversation. When he finally announced my order my food was luke warm at Best when I received it. He then had the audacity to tell me sorry for the wait. There wouldn't have been a wait if you weren't giggling like a school girl with your friend. If that serving was a double beef I'd hate to see what the regular beef would be. If I could give a zero star I would.

Went there multiple times i order terajaki chicken double meat but instead I think they put double rice and veggies barley any chicken. I think this place is a rip off. I complained the first time I went they said we will take care of you next time you come back. same thing happened again. I will never go back.

I have been going to his place for years cause I love a good fresh meal! But ever since the new management has taken over this is my second time that I have hade to return a meal cause the meat is old left over form the previous order and not to mention the very rude customer service upon returning the mea. ( they did by the way offer me a free meal with my money back but I had no interest in that as u can see this was not the first time happening to me that I had to return a meal from 3 km away) go at ur own will if u like old and stall food

Says open till 9 but if you go anytime after 8 they wont serve you. Walked out multiple times because they didn’t have anything on their menu, and every time they said “it’s because we close in five minutes”. The employees are terrible and it is overal badly managed. Do not recommend coming here

We placed our order for 2 bento boxes to go and sat down. 3 other people walked in, ordered and left with their food. We waited a long time for our food. I asked for 2 scoops of sauce and they put zero. It was very dry and bland. One of the worse Edo's in the city.

They never have sushi rice and the employees constantly gossip, mess up orders and take them back secretly and i’m assuming picking them apart. The customer service is horrible and the store has a bad vibe all together. I have had to walk out of the establishment 2 times because they didn’t have what I ordered:( very disappointing as i live close by and this place would have been my go- to

Had a chance to eat there a couple times and was very satisfied with the food and services there.The staff provide the most welcome and warm service there, and all vegetable, chicken, in the plate look fresh and delicious, what matters most is, the clean cosy dinning space makes me feel at home, I highly recommend anybody to go to this restaurant for your work lunch, or even a family meal.
