Today, Dimitris is still my favorite restaurant in Fredericton. The food is delicious and the service is good. I always end up eating so much I roll out of that restaurant! I look forward to many more delicious meals at Dimitris!

There's nothing quite like Dimitri's out there. If you have an itch for a bit of Greece and a bit of grease, all at a great price, you really can't go wrong with this place! Since my spouse and I have never eaten here during evenings, we can't speak for their suppers/diners options, but we have lunch here once a month for our restaurant fix and we end up having the same thing every time: the chicken pita special. Chicken breast strips, tzaziki sauce, and onions, wrapped in what we think is their home made pita bread (I know, I know), add generous portions of Greek salad and a either potato wedges, fried, rice or a combination of the aforementioned, and you've got yourself one loaded lunch! Go Dimitri's!

The food at Dimitri's is excellent. However the same cannot be said for the service received from our visit. We had a long wait before the waitress came to take our order and a longer wait for our food to arrive. After we had finished eating, we once again waited for the table to be cleared and to receive our bill. I will note that the night we went was a busy night, the place was packed and there was a line forming at the door. However majority of our visit we spent waiting. The take out service is excellent though, and very fast. I would recommend ordering food ahead of time for pickup as the food is spectacular. I am willing to visit again, and will submit another review pending that visit.

I used to frequent Dimitri's, but I always felt uncomfortable with the way he treated his employee's. I've worked in restaurants for years and I understand there is often conflict, but his behavior was just vile. I know many people who no longer go to Dimitri's due to his poor behavior and mistreatment of his staff. On a side note, I did really enjoy the food, especially the chicken pitta.

Dimitri's has been a Fredericton staple for many, many years. The Super Veggie Pita is something I literally crave on a weekly basis. The humus is oh so garlicky & yummy with the warm grilled pita breads. If you eat chicken you can't go wrong with the chicken souvlaki dinner plate. If you're eating in, a glass of traditional Retsina wine goes great with everything! Plan ahead with a reservation during peak times, and you won't be disappointed. Best for a casual lunch or dinner, and great value for the low prices!!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE GOOD SERVICE AND FOOD PREPARED IN CLEAN ENVIRONMENTS. Dimitri's used to be one of my favorite restaurants but when I found a dead fly in my food, the waitress said "Eww," took the fly and the piece of lettuce it was sitting on away, and did not come back. I was not offered a new plate, nor was I offered an apology. Just an "Eww." AND they expected us to pay for my plate. Yeah freaking right. Health inspector will be called asap.

I had no idea a simple salad could be so damn good. Their specials are worth every single penny. The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding, nevermind the impeccable quality of the food and cocktails. It's a cozy and unremarkable environment with very unremarkable staff, in my opinion, but the food! Oh my! It single handedly earns Dimitri's all five stars. Returned twice in the same week and had to show it to others, too.

Stopped for supper with my wife here last night. If you make a reservation, I would ask for the back room - can get a bit drafty near the main doors. We ordered from the Dine Around Freddy menu and started off with the Kalamari and Deep Fried Mushrooms. They came with pita bread and tzatziki sauce. These were delicious - seriously some of the best around town. Our main meals were Chicken Souvlaki and Pork Souvlaki. The meals were overall very good, but the meat skewers were a bit overdone. Our desserts were tasty and a nice way to finish the meal. Thanks.

2.5 stars. A typical dumpy Greek restaurant that has not seen an update in decades! Dry pork, perhaps pre-made much earlier. Terrible tazatziki was nearly all sour cream! Such a great place. The food is so fresh and completely unique compared to what you usually find around the city. Everytime I go I get out of there satisfied. I'm.not vegetarian but their super vegetarian pita is simply spectacular. Although I ask them to replace their tzatziki sauce with Hummus, because their hummus is divine, fresh, garlicky and their pita break srems to be homemade. Awesome place.

Dimitri's is a great place with lots of greek food options. The lamb kebab was fantastic. Lasagna was good too. I also recommend the egg+lemon soup. Very quiet and comfy place. A bit hard to find it, it's hidden between buildings behind a parking lot. We had to wait about 20 minutes, not too bad, it's worth it!!!

Location,: good location in downtown, however it is in the corner of strip mall where there are lots of restaurants and hard to find. Parking, there are lots of parking option, I didn't find issue to find one. Food: plenty of food, delicious, staffed perfect and taste excellent(cannot complain), as a matter of fact, I packed up the rest of food. Timing: was a little bit late (has no reason to be late). Cleaning: the restaurant cleaning level is plausible. Staff: treats you as valauble client. Service: also plausible. However, we noticed that cleaning tables after client toke too long time for staff to act and clean the tables. prices was affordable, not expensive. Over all the visit was acceptable, plausible and as expected. Thanks guys for food

I was there last week for dinner and was disappointed. The Greek salad was very ordinary and even a bit confusing...radishes in Greek salad? Really? Dressing was bland and there were only 2 olives in the entire salad. :( The spanakopita was average, mostly spinach, could not see or taste much feta. The phillo pastry was limp, not flaky and crispy like it should be. Also restaurant windows were dirty, and the A/C unit over the window had gobs of dust hanging from it... yuck. Very unappealing. I have enjoyed Dimitri's for years but I find that recently their food quality has decreased. I am disappointed and doubtful I will go back which is unfortunate because I love to support local small businesses.

Went to Dimitris this week to try it out for the first time because I heard great comments about their chicken souvlaki (and their food in general). All I can say is that it didn't disappoint me at all. It was delicious. Great place! Definetly coming here more often.

Amazing Greek food! The portions are large and the food is cooked and seasoned to perfection. The price is affordable and there is lots of public parking near by, as well as pubs close by if you want to continue the evening somewhere else.
