Professional and friendly. Fair prices :)
Very friendly polite and professional people. Love going there.
Best Spa for facial.
Great friendly service. Will definitely go back for more.
Cute and clean. Got my first facial here because I got a Groupon. They were very gentle and it was incredibly relaxing.
I have been going here for over 1 year now for my waxing and Mani - Pedi's. It is always a great experience. Eve or Maddy typically do my mani-pedi's and both are wonderful and Yasmine is wonderful for waxing.
Good cheap place for students to get waxed
I had such a lovely experience here and the staff are so friendly, kind, and patient! Such great work & I saw a lot of repeat clients coming in where the staff knew them by name which is great to see. I will deff be back!
I love this spa! The staff are always great to deal with and the quality of service is amazing. The only thing I would critique are the chairs at the nail station, for both the customers and staff. The first time I went in I noticed the girls had a hard time moving around and seemed uncomfortable and the second time I was in a screw popped out of one of the staff's chairs and the poor girl went flying back into the wall and onto the floor and obviously hurt her back quite badly from it. The client chairs are just awkward, stiff, and uncomfortable - definitely not relaxing, and obviously from a dining room set. I would love to see Sabaya upgrade the chairs and then I will upgrade my rating.
Sanaya Spa is a neat little place. I really like the fact that they have monthly specials, and that they offer 10% off during your birthday month.
Relaxing and enjoyable!
I have only had one experience with a waxing at this venue. It was using a Groupon and the person I spoke with to reschedule the appointment was considerate. The female that gave me the waxing had no idea what she was doing. This was obvious when wax was reapplied more than once in the same spot. It was so painful that I had requested the session to stop midway. While a wax treatment is normal to hurt, this was excrutiating and beyond what I (a regular client for these services) had experienced. I was offered a refund which I appreciated but don't believe this condones the experience I had.
-horrible customer service -quoted a price + charged me well over that quote -poorely trained esthetican that made me bleed Went here for the first time and will never return. I first called days prior to the date I wanted to get my nails done, the lady who answered was busy so she said she would call me back in 30 mins. I waited an hour and then finally had to call HER BACK. I explained I need dip powder removal and I wanted dip powder back on if they had a wide selection of colours, if not I would just get shellac done. She booked me in and made a note that I would get dip, if not then shellac. The lady on the phone quoted me $15 for removal and $30 for shellac application. I go in for my appointment and had the esthetican named Kayla. I told her the situation about getting dip if there was a wide selection of colours if not then I would get shellac. Kayla said that she didn't have time to do dip powder because she was new so it would take her longer and she had someone right after me. I was upset because of the level of customer service I didn't recieve when the lady on the phone put me in for getting dip. The salon should have accounted for dip or shellac because thats what my appointment was for. I ended up getting shellac, but during my appointment Kayla files my nails so hard that I bleed and she didn't seem apolgetic for it at all. My nails are done, and the polish isn't even close to my skin so it looks like I got them done a week ago when I just got them done. The biggest issue I have is when I was cashing out. The lady on the phone quoted me $15 for dip removal and $30 for shellac application... Kayla charges me $60 ...... Not happy with my nails- as you can see the picture I have a cut from Kayla on my ring finger and the polish isnt even close to my skin as you can see on my thumb.
Kayla was able to revive my nails after a poor job done at another spa! She removed the poor "dip"/acrylic job I got a couple weeks prior at another place, shaped my nails perfectly, and applied shellac. She was very thorough, gentle, and did them exactly the way I wanted. Thanks Kayla!!
Local, just getting to know the place, going back again.
I went in for a mani-pedi and had a great experience. Both Jade and Shannon were so lovely to talk to. A very friendly environment. As well, Shannon did such a great job with my nails. She really paid attention to detail and left them looking amazing! Thank you girls, will probably be back again sometime. :)
I stopped in last minute to see if they could fit me in for a gel manicure. In most cases, they are booked solid but I was lucky enough that someone cancelled last minute and they were able to squeeze me in. They advised me that most people book several weeks ahead as they are usually fully booked. And I can understand why!! Eve gave me an amazing gel manicure! It was honestly the best manicure I've ever recieved. She knew exactly what I was going for, and was easy to talk to. I will definitely go back and I suggest others to try out their services.
I very rarely rate places but after my experience here I couldn't not. I came to Sabaya for my waxing appointment to find that the A/C was not working properly. It was uncomfortably hot. I was then taken to a little room not much bigger than the waxing bed itself. I have 4 or 5 years of waxing experience in Kingston and this was by far the most painful (due to a very harsh and uncaring technique) and highest priced. Overall I was very uncomfortable and will never be going back.
Yassmine is an incredible lash stylist! From the beginning she nailed the look I wanted and was able to always maintain quality results. I was always getting my eyebrows threaded and she suggested I let her do mine with waxing and and I was floored and so pleased with how they turned out. Highly recommend!
I got a pedicure here. The girls were amazing. Extremely helpful and professional. They did an excellent job
They are very kind and never mess up! It always looks amazing
This place is great, I've gotten a manicure here, which I liked, but I have to say the waxing experience for me was the most memorable. I hate waxes because of how painful they are, but the lady that did mine at Sabaya was clearly skilled. I won't say it was painless of course, but her technique ensured that everything was off in one swipe- no need to redo the same spot (something I experienced at other salons), and I was out of there in no time. Sometimes the wait before being seen is pretty long, despite having made an appointment though.
Positives - Reasonable prices - Friendly staff - Happy with Pedi I received. Negatives - Scheduling confusion with Appts. - Felt rushed / should feel relaxed.
Went here for my first Brazilian, room was pretty small and sketchy but the girl was super super sweet and very easy to talk too! She used baby powder and offered me some oil to ease the pain afterward. Completely comfortable experience, would recommend :)
I recommend Shannon at Sabaya to everyone! She is so talented and always does an excellent job with all the services they offer. My favourites are facials with her, they leave my skin feeling rejuvenated as well as Shellac manicures! Every time I get a Shellac manicure, they last for weeks and never chip, they also have such a wide variety of colours to choose from. Thank you Shannon!
Had a Sabaya Spa Pedicure done by Eve. It was absolutely wonderful and I will definitely be back :) thank you!
They did a great job accommodating our bridal party of 5. Very friendly and nice staff. Beautiful location and the services were perfect. Everyone left satisfied and would recommend this spa to anyone visiting the area. Very reasonably priced!
I love this spa and how down to earth and authentic the owner and staff are! Sabaya is always ahead of the beauty curve, sharing and learning new techniques on an ongoing basis. Thank you for always providing superb customer service!!!
Excellent experience!!
Great waxing service! Would definitely recommend.
