The Good: Clean, friendly, professional. The Bad: Incapable of handling dogs with any sort of demeanor, pill pushers, over prescribe medications. Overall: Avoid this place if your dog has a strong will. They are not experienced with handling dogs with character.

Awful. Awful. Awful. While the front of house staff and Vet Techs seem nice, the Veterinarians Dr. Rosnick and Co are very cold. I took my dog in when she was in heat and was made to feel just awful about my dog bleeding on the floor. The doctor(Rosnick) seemed offended and disgusted. Fast forward to today - I called to make an appointment as my dog is quite sick and I'm very concerned, with the stipulation that my partner left the city with my wallet in the car and so could only pay them on Saturday - this after being a client of theirs since our dog was a puppy - not the most insane request, and certainly one would think that people in the business of compassion would be a bit more understanding. But no. Instead I was told 'We can't do that.' - over and over. No reason, no explanation, no accommodation after we have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars with them. Needless to say they have lost us as customers and I will be absolutely sure to steer any and all friends away from them. These people are in it for the money, not for your pet.

Very friendly vet, the dog loves the attention he gets here. Update, 3 years on: our dog actually gets excited when he realises he's coming here. The team are lovely and really go the extra mile. They also seem to have a good relationship with several other vets in the area which is reassuring and has been helpful a couple of times.

I had a feeling they try to get as much money out of you as possible but it’s a new low when they told me I LEGALLY HAD TO bring my cat in for a check up for them to analyze a stool sample, which I pre paid for before the pandemic, because it’s been over a year. My cat had a check up ten months ago so no, I will not pay for another check up during a global pandemic when I’m unemployed. Have a little compassion for your clients. Especially ones who’ve already spent a lot of money here. I’ll happily take the small amount of money I have to a different Vet. ** Edited to add that I never said my cat wasn’t feeling well at any point, I asked if I could swing by and pick up a jar on my way to out***

Parkdale is a wonderful vet clinic. All of the vets are extremely attentive and thorough in their examinations. The vet techs and reception staff are warm and welcoming. Their opening hours are great, and we never have to wait too long to schedule appointments. Prices are very fair and they do not try to push unnecessary treatment; would highly recommend them to anyone!

Need to give a shoutout to PAH but in particular the receptionist/veterinary assistant Victoria! We saw three different veterinarians while getting our puppy through his vaccinations but Victoria was a constant source of positivity in the experience from our very first phone-call. Her love/kindness at the beginning and end of every visit Is truly what made us confident in our choice to use PAH as our primary Veterinary resource. Thank you so much Victoria! I've been bringing both of my dogs here for a few years after deciding to switch vets. My dogs have seen 3 different vets here and all of them have been very patient and great at answering any questions I have. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, and my dogs love going to see them. Can't recommend this clinic enough!

I brought my beloved dog in at the end of May because he was having a hard time walking. The vet took him for the day did xrays and blood work for everything, even gave him medication for something he did not even have. She did everything but actually take the time to check the one thing I brought him in for...his leg. She had him all day, she saw how he was walking. When I asked her why, she just told me it was not a concern of hers. IT WAS A CONCERN OF MINE! Today I am now having to plan the euthinization and cremation of my beloved dog, as he is just getting weaker day by day, all because his leg was not this vet's concern.

I can't say enough good things about Parkdale Animal Hospital. I am moving from Canada to Brazil (during covid which has made things hard). I desperately want to take my dog Ted with me. I called 10+ vets in Toronto area, and they were all fully booked for weeks. When I called Parkdale, they got me in later that afternoon. I went just for a checkup before the flight. Dr. Rosnick informed me that moving a pet overseas is very complicated (total ignorance on my part). He did ALL of the research for me. I barely lifted a finger. He found the Brazilian import forms, contacted the Canadian Food Agency, and helped me plan. He figured out all of the steps and gave me so much advice. If it weren't for him, Ted would have been rejected at the airport due to me being oblivious. It's really a shame I'm moving, otherwise I'd never go anywhere other than Parkdale Animal Hospital. All of the staff is very kind, and treated Ted with so much love and care. They have a genuine desire to help in any way they can. Thank you so so so much Dr. Rosnick and staff!

Absolutely wonderful vets office! I have experienced different vet offices and by far this lil group of animal lovers have the best vibe, care, price, and knowledge. My doggo is a 70lb rescue with some stranger danger issues that the staff have been so patient and understanding with. Nothing worse than your dog growling and making a scene... but that aweful feeling quickly disappears when the staff chuckle and dedicate themselves to be there for her as they would for a friendly patient. Wonderful office... I will forever go here and refer them!

Brought our 15-year-old indoor cat in for flea medication. They refused to provide this without our dropping another $300+ on a cocktail of vaccinations. Within a week our cat bloated up and died, undoubtedly a negative reaction to the injections.

They never managed to determine the cause of my dog's skin rash, after thousands of dollars spent on visits, tests, treatments, expensive hydrolized food (that made the rash obviously much much worse, but he was forced to continue), he had no relief from the vet's end. We finally found a limited ingredient low starch food and that made all the difference, after years of struggle, but no thanks to any of the expensive care that he received. They will charge you for a $90 visit to get heartworm/flea/tick medicine and they'll be sure to make you feel like a fool and bad pet owner for refusing.

I was pleased with the professionalism and thoroughness of the appointment and the fee was comparable.
