Played the pitch and putt. Longest hole is 90 yards. You get 11 holes got $15. I was the only one in the course with a few people on the range. It was ok. Don't think I'll need to go back.

The most noted part of this park is the swimming pool.Thanks to google we can see overall size of area to the park boundaries.A number of streets go through Beban Park although it's easy to get from one part to another because of the trail system. A BMX track,three base ball diamonds and a soccer field(Merle Logan Field)

Excellent park! Went to the Kinsman trail beside it (nice, simple, flat trail in the shade of the trees). Big playground, sports field, and community center with gym, and pool! The pool area for small kids is great! There's a lazy river-current simulation at the back, nice gradual shallow end and warm water.

Worth checking out. There a small golf course, pool, ice rink, baseball diamond, and park. The golf course is small but fun for a quick one. Some events happen here too, such as the VIEX (fair), Farmers market, animal showings, and Halloween haunted houses.

Very limited private change rooms for families and there was no change table in the private family change rooms we used.. The pools are nice. Life jackets are available for kids. Parking is challenging at times here. Lots of things for kids to enjoy the water with from a river kinda pool to a water park and water slides.

Such a cool place to spend some time. Two EV chargers are placed outside of the pool complex, and there is so much to do in the area. Facilities are a bit outdated, but the kids park has something for everyone to do. There is also a really good participark right besides Beban Park. Beautiful forested walk, and fun activities for adults to get in shape.

I did not get a chance to go all around the park because I was specifically looking for an off leash to take my dog to and the reviews seemed pretty good. Once I got there though I was surprised at how boring and empty it was. All gravel only 1 other dog. I did like how the off leash area had separate spots for small and large dogs. There was a kiddy pool and a hose which was handy but all in all... my girl was very bored and it really was nothing but a fenced in gravel pit.

I grew up in this place this place was awesome I watch my uncle play hockey here I watched my grandfather be a Shriner here and watch my grandfather generate the 50/50 drawers at the Clippers games back in the early 90s man that's a great place that's where I learn to ice skate I learn to swim in the little tiny warm pool in the Aquatic Center in like 1985 blast man you know they changed it still the same

Visited the Wednesday farmers market, so this is really a review of the Farmer's Market, open 2-6. Excellent selection of vegetables, meats, baked goodies and some crafty items, especially in the winter months. Well worth a visit!

Been there a few times, there is a pool when it's no longer a pandemic I'm sure they'll open UP AGAIN. Also, we liked going to the skating rink. There's a big playground with lots of equipment, a path for riding some wheels around. I thought there was a Sk8 park around there BUT I haven't located it yet. There's a walking path through the woods close by. Went there for my Pfizer VACCINES.

Lovely park, we didn't get to explore it all but there seemed to be almost everything one could want there.... even an equestrian area. What drew us into this location was the fantastic dog park. There is a short paved walk way to walk down from other areas of the park or you can park right close to the fenced in doggy area. There are also doggy bag stations all over the park and path ways, which makes for a no excuse environment...to pickup after your pooch.... Which we loved.... It kept the grounds clean and smell free. The Off Leash dog area is well set up and thought out. There is a big dog enclosure and a small dog enclosure and everyone is quite friendly. We are from out of town and wanted somewhere relatively quick to stop and let the girls out and we ended up spending just over an hour there....(and would have loved to have stayed longer) Playing fetch, walking around and chatting with other dog owners....... It was amazing how we all shared stories, even with the small dog owners over the fence line......and it was great to see all the pooches running around and getting along, and all sizes able to meet through the chain link fence. It truely was a wonderful experience and we will definitely go back when we go through with the girls again.

We usually go to this pool because I have a four year old son and its less busy. The pool could be a bit warmer, even the "warmer" pool is not that warm. A little bit disgusted as last time we went there someone pooped on the floor in the change rooms and it sat there and stank up the pool area. PLEASE BRING POOL SHOES because sometimes there's poop on the floor that isn't cleaned up. Gym is fine though, not usually busy.

Have only ever been in the big room with wooden floors and a stage, both for blood donations and for private events. Lots of parking, wheelchair accessible, nice washrooms, available to book for events, staff at a help desk to answer questions, a lovely bird's-eye view map of Nanaimo, I saw (but did not go to) the sweet looking cafè, and I know there is also a pool but I haven't been.

A very nice park to walk around, including participark, but it's more focused on recreation than nature. It's got the indoor pool, tennis courts, horse area, skate park, and the hockey arena. Farmers market here on Wednesdays all year. Check out Bowen park farther down Bowen Road for more nature paths.

I have been there many times. The staff are always courteous and friendly. Recently my husband needed his vaccine (hes a fainter) they made certain he was seated and safe while waiting for his turn. Their care and concern was greatly appreciated.

The park is decent. I play basketball there so thats what i have to critique most about. I do not like that theres a literal parking space under the hoop. You would think people would be smart enough to realize not to park there, but they do! Secondly, theres no barrier seperating the parking lot and the basketball hoops. Im always conscious to get out of the way of moving cars, but sometimes it cannot be helped. Please change that. I would like tp acknowledge that a lot of park patreons have started to clean up the dump that this place was so congratulations! Amen!

Best pool for my 5 and 2 year old - I love that my 5 year old can touch the bottom in the whole kiddie pool and that there is lots of shallow water for the little one. Also my older girl loves the waterslide! Usually it's not that busy either so that's a big bonus!

What a great medium sized park . I mean you've got it all in this park skating, hockey , a great workout trail , a driving range with a nine hole course , a nice paved nature walking trail and a super awesome kids playground . It's never crowded just a really nice park .

Big park multi activity park in Nanaimo with many sports, recreation, business and social activities. It has swimming indoor pool, hokey rink, dry sports arena, social center, business meeting rooms. Has plenty of free parking around the building. Clean washrooms, but hockey arena smelt rotten socks, this was a surprise for me. This facility can be accessed from all directions mainly from Bowen Road and Beban Parkway area. There is a chaitea (like a coffee shop) at the corner, lobby, reception and lockers facility exist.

Beban park rec center gym has everything you need for a full body workout. Free weights plus weight machines. There is a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, steam sauna, dry sauna, length swimming and a water slide.

Used to be the nicest pool in town, now it's mostly used for swim lessons. Pool is a bit small but still good for kids.

An older park with two rinks, a pool and meeting centre with large stage performance area. Surrounding land are cleared but kept vacant in order to accommodate the various travelling shows, equestrian events. Area is clean and well Maritimes with an excellent outdoor childrens play area featuring a large modern, safe climbing apparatus. Well worth a family trip.

This is a great park that sees a lot of year round use from many interest groups. It's easy to get to, though a little more difficult to leave, but they are working on that part. Two ice sheets, a pool, wooded running/walking, several natural and two artificial turf fields, a pitch and putt golf course, a paved path for walking at the south end, tennis courts, livestock/equestrian, social centre, fantastic BMX and bike park, dog off leash park for big and small dogs and a fantastic playground for children. With the homeless camp moving across the street, there's been reports of needles and garbage in the park, which has detracted a bit from a very fantastic recreation facility.

I was at Beban Park social centre where the Canadian Cancer Society was having a fund raiser. Aside from a few minor issues (not enough coffee makers for the size of the crowd), the event (including set up and tear down) went smoothly. The facility is flexible and accommodated our needs nicely. Parking is free and convenient and there is a loading/unloading zone right outside the kitchen. I would recommend it for just about any event.

As a public pool this place is terrible. The facility is ancient (except updated kiddie pool and slide) the pools are underheated. The changerooms are from the 80s. Hot tub holds 8 people, if they want to be like sardines... I also found a bandaid and other materials floating in the water. Told the staff, and waited 30 mins before leaving and they still hadnt fished it out. (No excuses. there were only 4 people in the pool) I won't be back.

It is a great park. There are several artificial grass fields, playgrounds and etc. Besides, there is a leash of park, when you can let your dogs run freely. However, you must be prepared to handle people that want to argue about dogs and etc.

The Clippers rock! We will be renewing our seasons tickets this year. Great product put out on the ice! Great bunch of guys. My 8 year old boy has a star struck look everytime we see these guys. He recognizes them all over town and they ALWAYS have a kind word and are super polite with him no matter what they are doing. Coach Naylor great job transforming this team! The start of the season looked like we were in for rockem sockem kind of season but these boys are playing some famtastic hockey halfway through the season. Just got our 10th win in a row even with some key players out with injuries. Keep them rollin!!! The concession at this arena need a complete overhaul. Just a suggestion, maybe start prepping food BEFORE the doors are opened!! Concession staff lying to season ticket holders who see the exact same staff at every game, saying service is slow because they are under staffed is unacceptable. It was the last time I spent any money at the concession stand. I would love to support the clippers further. Good food would only improve an already great experience.
